Hanging with your Game

Are you hanging while you game? It's not as cool as it sounds. Hanging refers to when your offline game freezes while it catches up to the commands you've given it.

In this case, there is a process or piece of hardware that is causing a "traffic jam" of data. Make sure you've closed other programs that may be bogging down your computer. Check the available space on your storage drive - if you are full, chances are your system is at max capacity.

Try lowering the graphics setting if possible - this will ease the pressure on your system. If this helps, great but you should review the game specifications to see if it is too much for your computer. Inventory your hardware and start looking at some upgrade options.

Some easy upgrade options that could help are adding more RAM or switching to a solid state drive if you are using a hard drive.
